Manila was the 2nd riches nation in Asia right behind Japan in the 1930′s. Now with all the curruption its considered one of the poorest. Just think back then it was kinda like Hawaii. Pearl of the Orient. Filipinos must change or they will never change.
I enjoyed this film. I will be heading to Manila/Boracay for 10 days next month. Can’t wait to see what some of these sites in the film looks like now.

they used to establish military bases in diff country so that US wont take any civilian casualties in their own soil thus

You are right. The idea of RP as a colony or a territory of another nation is preposterous. If the people of a country want greatness, they should be able to do it on their own without having to follow orders from foreign lands. Besides, US don’t want a country as geographically divided as the Philippines to be one of their states or territory. Filipinos asked for independence before instead of remaining a commonwealth of the US. As Filipinos, we need “COMPANERISMO” to get back on our feet.

@djstint uu nga pro nka havaianas or crocs nman.haha we’re modern but we’re not a rich country.. good thing is that we’re developing, and we cant put all the blame to the government. we live in 1 country so whenever our country has a problem we are all culpable and we should make solutions for that and stop blaming each other. we’re still lucky compared to the african countries. we still hav a chance to be 1 of the most powerful country in terms of economy. change we need.lol
the spaniards did a great job.. but they were too abusive.. then we went to war coz of america.. the country was destroyed literally.. then came marcos and all his corruption but he is a good leader too, matakaw lang.. tpos c erap, gloria.. ano kaya sunod?

philippines is now little crowded than this video, horse population in Manila is now only about 200, manila bay is now beautiful than ever
